Education:

1977
Jakarta Institute of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Art

1983
Post Graduate Program at St. Martin’s School of Art, London

Studied The Finest Method of Bronze Casting Process in Berkeley, USA

1985
• Short Course on Life Casting Process in Berkeley, USA
• Apprenticeship at Sonoma State University at Fine Art Department
 to study Sand Casting Processes

2002
• Awarded Certificate of Appreciation given by UNESCO and
 Sacred Bridge Foundation for generous support in
 Cultural Programs for Children Activities.

1994
• Awarded “Kriya Wanodya” for outstanding profession
 as Indonesian women artist given by State Minister of Women Affairs
1990
• Awarded USAID grant, International Visitor Program, to visit 9 states in America
  to visit School of Art, Museums, Galleries, Artist Studios, and experience
  the art and culture life in America.

1987
• Awarded “Modern Indonesia Sculpture Award” given by Jakarta Art Council
 for outstanding work at the Triennial
 of Modern Indonesia Sculpture Exhibition, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta.

1985
• Awarded Ford Foundation individual grant to restore the oldest traditional bronze  foundry in Trowulan, East Java.

1980
• Awarded Ford Foundation individual grant to organize The First Exhibition
 of Indonesian Women Sculptors in Jakarta
• Awarded The British Council Scholarship to undertake Post Graduate Program at
 St.Martin’s School of Art, London, United Kingdom
